Dr. Md. Atiqul Islam Foundation was established on July 20, 2018. The permanent address of the foundation is: Safalabari-Lakshmipur, Sajanpur, Gopalpur, Tangail. The operational area of the foundation covers the entire country of Bangladesh.
Registration Information: Certificate of Registration of Societies under Act XXI of 1860, Serial No. 13841/2022, registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies (RJSC) & Firms of Bangladesh.

Profile of the Founder of Dr. Md. Atiqul Islam Foundation
The founder and chairman of Dr. Md. Atiqul Islam Foundation is Dr. Md. Atiqul Islam. He was born on January 1, 1970, in Safalabari, Gopalpur, Tangail.
Dr. Md. Atiqul Islam’s father, Mr. Mokbul Hossain (born in 1942), was a teacher by profession, and his mother, Fatema Begum (born in 1952), was an exemplary homemaker. Mr. Mokbul Hossain graduated with honors from Korotia Saadat College in 1964 and began his career as an assistant teacher at Pakutia Public High School, Ghatail, Tangail.
Dr. Md. Atiqul Islam completed his primary education at Nandankur Boys Government Primary School, Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in 1985 from Suti VM Pilot Government High School, Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) in 1987 from Notre Dame College, and his MBBS in 1994 from MAG Osmani Medical College. He later earned a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) in 2003 from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), an MCPS in 2003 from BCPS, and an MD in 2010 from Dhaka University.
Currently, Dr. Md. Atiqul Islam serves as an Assistant Professor at the Bangladesh Shishu Hospital and Institute.
His spouse, Professor Dr. Shiuli Begum, is the Head of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at Enam Medical College and Hospital.
The youngest son of Mr. Mokbul Hossain, Dr. Mohammad Aminul Islam, serves as the Chairman of the “Global Board” division of Dr. Md. Atiqul Islam Foundation.
Dr. Mohammad Aminul Islam was an exceptionally brilliant student. He completed his primary education at Nandankur Boys Government Primary School, studied up to the 7th grade at Suti VM Pilot Government High School, and completed both SSC and HSC from Mirzapur Cadet College. He pursued Mechanical Engineering at BUET and Dalarna University, Sweden, and later earned a Doctorate and Post-Doctorate from Technical University of Denmark (DTU).
Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and is recognized as a globally renowned engineer and researcher.

The core slogan of Dr. Md. Atiqul Islam Foundation is: “Service is the goal, and development is the commitment.” Guided by this principle, the foundation adopts and implements realistic and timely initiatives.
The primary vision of the foundation is to function as a charitable, non-governmental, entirely non-political, and non-profit society. It aims to foster collaboration among professionals, educators, elites, and various government departments, as well as national and international organizations, to build a peaceful and prosperous Bangladesh. This is achieved through the integration of general and technical knowledge, education, and research to benefit the underprivileged and disadvantaged people of the country.
